Macroelectrodes
Parylene-C Insulated (Microprobes)
Description
Macroelectrodes: For making lesions, ERP recordings, or use in gross stimulation protocols
Macroelectrodes: For making lesions, ERP recordings, or use in gross stimulation protocols
- The larger diameter Macro Electrodes are available in Platinum/Iridium, Eligiloy, and Tungsten.
- The Platinum/Iridium models have a shank diameter of 231 µm, and the Tungsten shank diameter is 256 µm.
- They have very large tip exposure with tip impedance values between 2.5 to 20 kΩ.
- Are excellent for stimulation and making lesions.
- Larger tip exposures can be specified for electroporation studies as a custom option.
